Current Projects
Baksoft is working with a major finance organisation to develop a suite of consumer credit applications comprising dealer terminal entry software and automated head office processing.

BGCash, the BGOffice cashbook module is in beta release and is being deployed to test sites.

There are a number of customisations in development for existing Baksoft software users, the BGOffice documentation process continues, although slowly, and Baksoft maintains its ongoing commitments to various project management responsibilities, and service and support obligations to its client base.



In House Development
BGOffice module enhancement continues with emphasis on:

Extending the functionality and support for serialised inventory items,
The addition of production batch tracking to facilitate product recall,
Extending BGCash to import data from the BGOffice accounting modules




Research
We are currently researching voice over internet protocol, (VOIP), and its practical relevance to NZ SMBs. It is expected that a Client Resource download will be available at completion.



Long Term
The BGOffice modules are progressively being upgraded to the latest version of our main development tool, Visual Objects 2.7b (from version 2.6). This is expected to provide reduced application size, enhanced operating speed and increased stability over all platforms. This process is likely to extend over another six months
